Our 4-day road trip sampler across the Netherlands during peak tulip bloom was a beautiful bouquet of an experience! We immediately headed to Keukenhof to marvel at the colorful variety of tulip glory before continuing on to the ceramic mecca of Delft and Europe’s largest port of Rotterdam. After touring Rotterdam’s sights by foot and boat, we headed out of town to stroll by the Windmills at Kinderdijk on our way north through the town of Utrecht, Naarden’s star fortress, and Almere’s funky architecture up to Giethoorn. There we captained our way through the “Venice of the Netherlands” before concluding our trip in Haarlem and Amsterdam. Colorful tulips, countless canals, and dozens of historic windmills and cities; you can't go wrong!
