Full disclosure, our time through Argentina bookended our larger time spent in Antarctica; but we plan to go back for deeper exploration! We stopped in Buenos Aires for a food tour, tango show, and to meet with our Quark Expeditions team before flying down to Ushuaia and embarking on our Antarctic expedition over the New Year. After returning to Ushuaia, we flew to Patagonia to explore El Calafate’s impressive Perito Moreno glacier and El Chaltén to hike around the iconic Fitz Roy. The wildlife, landscapes, and experiences on this trip were among the best we’ve found in our travels and will be tough to top!
